This page covers the website at thesolutionmatrix.com. Work we do under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement, not by anything here.

The site is operated by Solution Matrix LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (“Solution Matrix”, “we”).

The short version

This is a marketing and publishing site. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing to buy. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. For most visitors the only information we hold is what a web server necessarily sees in order to send a page back. For everyone else, it is what they chose to send us in order to start a conversation.

What you give us

The contact form asks for your name, email, company, and your message, and optionally which of our Tools you are interested in. If you email or call instead, we hold whatever that correspondence contains.

We use it to reply and to continue the conversation you started. We do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of a contact form, and we do not pass your details to anyone else to sell you something.

What is collected automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs — IP address, page requested, referrer, user-agent, timestamp — for reliability and security. They are retained on the host’s rolling schedule and are not assembled by us into a profile of you.

Cookies

We set no cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Our host may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies for security and performance; they do not identify you and are not used to follow you between sites. That is why there is no consent banner here.

Who else touches it

Cloudflare hosts and serves the site, so requests pass through their network and logs. Microsoft 365 carries our email, so anything sent to [email protected] rests in that mailbox. The contact form is processed by a Cloudflare function and delivered to that mailbox through Cloudflare’s email service; no other form service is involved. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font CDN, so no third party is notified when you load a page.

Keeping, and deleting

Correspondence is kept while it is useful to the relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. Ask us to delete correspondence with you and we will, subject to anything we are required to retain.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, and to have it corrected, deleted, or provided to you in a copy — under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, or the equivalent law of another US state, the UK, or the EU. We do not sell personal information, process it for targeted advertising, or use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

Security, and children

The site is served over HTTPS and access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential material through a web form. The site is aimed at businesses; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes, and how to reach us

If this page changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects information already given to us, say so plainly rather than relying on you to notice a new date.
