Many partners lead with a Statement of Work: a scope, a price and a go-live date. It’s a
project document, and while it’s being delivered, the partner is already looking ahead to
the next SOW. When the project ends, the attention often diminishes or disappears. What’s
left behind is a system set up for a process nobody follows, and a partner who has moved
on.
We begin with a General Agreement, which is a relationship document. It sets out how we’ll
work together for as long as you need us. Each engagement then gets its own Project
Agreement, which may carry its own rates and terms, and where it differs, it takes
precedence over the GA. The relationship begins with the first conversation, not when the
contract is signed. That’s why the first thing we do costs nothing, and why everything we
find is yours to keep.
